I am dealing with a female who seems to enjoy managing other peoples failing marriages and contributing to the breakup when ever possible-including mine. After she hooks a person, she then informs them (me) that she offered nothing more then a friendship and then becames cold. Is there some kind of personality disorder or syndrome for this kind of individual? I have seen her do this to a number of people.

Maybe she has been hurt in the past and acts it out by causing it to happen to other people so that they feel the pain she experienced?

Definitely could be a personality disorder, I think that's the most likely.
