I just got back from a wonderful AA meeting! I took advantage of an opportunity to speak my peace regarding someone in the program who had been very nasty to me. I didn't make any direct accusations, and spoke in "I" statements about my "feelings", lol. After the meeting I received so much encouragement and support from other women! Then I got home and called my sponsor and she said I handled it perfectly.

The great thing is, that now I can release my resentment against this person. If she continues to be angry at me for whatever reason, that's her business.

This is a new thing for me!
