cant get out to meetings; all alone, very depressed, no psych meds, I am bipolar, lately back problems caused paralysis. no one to talk to, full of 43 yrs. experience, knowledge of steps, degrees in behavioral health and religion, active brain, alone no communication. very very depressed, scared, feeling of not knowing what to do. missing meetings very much; once you're not active, people forget you.

Hello charbronte: I'm sorry you are having such difficulty. A lot of us, here on PC, are here because we have few people, or no one, to talk to. So, you're in good company. I know PC isn't like real people in your life. But it can really help. Post your own threads & reply to lots of other members' posts, play games, join social groups, get involved in the chat rooms (if you're of a mind to do so...) It's all good. The Skeezyks sends you his best wishes...

YES...great help, great advice. I was having problems 'navigating' the site, trying to do the chat room thing, I had a horrible time even getting logged in, so bad I got into a frenzy; I always have trouble on this site, and I NEEDED it so bad. I must keep trying, persevere, you are absolutely right, each person is basically ALONE, no human relationship can fill that emptiness, sometimes having insensitive or thoughtless people around can exacerbate my inner psychic pain. YES. I am determined to master the mechanics of this site, although I have been trying for years, mustn't give up, as I DO FEEL UNDERSTOOD, and most importantly, as you pointed out, I AM NOT UNIQUE; I AM NOT A FAILURE; I HAVE MANY HANDICAPS TO OVERCOME AND CANNOT EQUATE MYSELF WITH OTHERS MORE FORTUNATE.
GOD BLESS ALL, THANKS AGAIN.

I know things may seem bad right now but I want you to stay encouraged. You mentioned you have a degree in religion so you know God is there when nobody else is.

Chabronte get on that phone! With that much time I know you have friends who would gladly pick you up! ..or bring a meeting to you!
