Ugh, birthdays are SO hard. Our birthday is hard. We hate that day.
Do you know that bad birthdays can be in the past? And that good birthdays can happen now? Every year we try to do something that makes our birthday better than the last year, even if it is only something tiny. We make sure we buy ourselves presents and treats even if they are only tiny. We try hard to give things to ourselves, to be kind to ourselves now. Bigs especially try to look after the smaller ones now and let them know they are loved. Do you have a big who is kind and takes care of you? |
