To be honest, I had a difficult time deciding which forum category this would go under. While my primary "affliction" would be ADD, what I'm feeling about my situation right now seems to fall under my long-term depression. Not surprising since ADD/Depression/Anxiety comorbidity is typically common.

I'm in a pretty tough spot right now, mainly at work. In terms of productivity, I have significantly dropped from my "prime" level. If I had to guess I'm probably outputting a 1/3 of what I used to. It's been like this for months now and the fact I haven't able to improve is frustrating. Even more so the amount of methods I've tried to improve myself has been exhausting. Ive literally cycled through Physical/Mental/Spiritual attempts and to no avail. Im rarely enjoying the things I used to anymore and because of that it's making the stress at work worse. It's rather weird to describe... I KNOW that I need to improve I just... can't. It's almost like my body refuses to.

I'm rather reluctant to swap medication or increase dosage. Mainly because I don't know for sure which one I should change. If any.

Hello xaldin: You don't say, in your Thread, whether or not you like your job. If the work you do isn't something you particularly enjoy, that would certainly make it more difficult to get back to the level of productivity you used to be able to achieve. Perhaps you're experiencing some burnout; & your mental health struggles are creating a situation where you can't ramp up again. It probably is appropriate to be concerned since, depending on your employment situation, your employer may begin looking critically at your job performance. It sounds like you've tried allot of different things to get going again. Switching or changing medications can also be difficult. It can take some time to adjust to new med's or dosages. But, under the circumstances, it may be worth talking about with your prescribing physician. Anyway... I wish you the best in trying to find a solution to this difficult situation.

Thank you Skeezyks, I appreciate the support.

As for my job... well at the moment Im definitely not the biggest fan. With amount of backlog to deal with, I've developed a bit of a futility attitude. It's basically trying to shovel snow of an Avalanche. But the job pays well and it's lenient in more areas than probably with other employers.
I think I would say I wouldn't straight hate my job. When I first started it was a lot less chaotic than it is now so it was far more bearable. Right now it's just a really stressful time and it's hard to get any momentum. And I've already been criticized by management on my lacking performance.... So yes I'm feeling quite a bit of pressure.

It's affecting me to the point where even in my off hours I can't enjoy anything to de-stress...
