I don't know why I haven't seen this exact board before. I've been on so many medications, it would be ridiculous to list them all. The SSRI's used to be quite helpful, but at some point 3 years ago I began having a bad reaction when I went up to a therapeutic dose for more than 2 days (terrible anxiety/agitation). So I'm on 5mg. Lexapro, plus low doses of Seroquel, Geodon, Inderal, and Klonopin. Much of the time I'm only mildly depressed...some days I'm even a little bit up. Then I have a day like today...cannot shake the depression, feel frightened and just so down. I guess I'll kick up my Lexapro for a couple of days, 'though I don't dare go any higher than 7mg.

Anyway, I'm not really looking for answers since I have tried or do try just about everything (except ECT, haven't tried that yet). Just so tried, and venting I guess.

Hi Laurabeth,

Most people who post here have tried just about everything too. We do understand something of what you're going through. I really feel for you.

This is a good place to vent. I do that too.
