I do this all the time, to stop periods and reduce chances of cysts. Just run packs together, so just keep taking them. The doctor should have explained. I'm guessing it's a one a day thing? If so, just keep taking it same sort of time of day everyday and when you finish a pack, just move straight on to the next. This will mean there is no break and therefore no period.

Take the pills with you and go talk to the pharmacist who filled the prescription for Levlen. He can explain what the doctor is doing and show you what to do so you understand. If the doctor/ER gave you the pills, then go to your normal drug store pharmacist and tell him what the doctor said and have him show you.

I'm not sure what pills you're on, but I've done the "continuous birth control" thing (to stop one's periods). You take all three weeks of the regular pills, then, when you would normally take the placebos (the sugar pills), start a new pack. Don't wait a week. Take them every day as normal, so you're taking Week 1's pills, Week 2's pills, Week 3's pills, and right away, a new pack, starting with Week 1. Don't skip any days. The placebos aren't used.
