so i have heard a lot about hot flashes/flushes happening in perimenopausal and menopausal women and also anxiety related flashes.

My question is how long should they last to be called a hot flash? i was told they only last minutes yet i have been having them for hours.

Could i have fevers or something else? anyone had long flashes? i get anxiety related to all body changes and the doc largely ignored me last time i asked, and told me to take paracetamol.
