They do. I am not pregnant and my monthly is 2 weeks away, but my boobs hurt so bad I can't even put a bra on. They hurt like when you first have a kid and your milk comes in. It hurts. I also have a big chest mabye that's why they hurt? I don't know all I know is that they hurt.

I've had PMS breast tenderness and pain as much as 2 weeks before my period is due. And my breasts are fairly small.

I wonder if it's because of the strong antibiotics you've been on?? Many women do have increased breast tenderness during the last 2 weeks before their cycle - but it usually happens every month and goes away. What you describe doesn't sound typical for you and it it doesn't go away, you should mention it to your doctor. Salt and high caffiene levels can also increase breast tenderness. Don't know if this is an appropriate question, but could you be expecting? Some antibiotics can make birth control pills ineffective. Hope you feel better TBear

Breast hurting up to two weeks before you period is all part of PMS.... take some Advil for relief of the pain & swelling.
Thanks for this!

Hey. Could be the anti biotics. My chest never get sore until the 3rd day of my period. I'm not pregnant though. I have an IUD so the antibiotics would'nt affect that.

Could be cystic breasts, I have them myself.
Eliminate all caffeine for a few months and see if that helps you out any. ( tea, coffee, colas, chocolate...).
