I'd go ahead and make an appointment with a gynecologist or your doctor. Pain during sex can be a number of things, and its always good to get that kind of thing checked out.

I know this is an old post but I am pretty certain of a possiblity....perhaps you have an ovary cyst. I say this from experience. This has happened to me twice (2 separate occassions) in which painful intercourse was due to ovary cysts. The dr. ruled out infections, STD's, bladder issues etc.

By the way, ovary cysts are common and treatable. The treatment is to let it heal naturally and/or start a birth control method.....usually the pill. Syntetic hormones that stop your ovaries from "working" stop them from also developing cysts.

Note - if you do have a cyst, you should be diagnosed by a professional and talk about treatment options. Some cysts are very large. My first cyst had burst and I was bleeding heavy, dark almost black blood. It was disgusting. I'm okay now though. Best of luck to you or any woman reading this!

Hi skittles, i think you should definately talk to your doctor about this and maybe see a gynaecologist. I had the same problems and turns out i have endometriosis. but there are lots of things that it is possible you might have. good luck - let me know how you got on

Definitely get checked out. i got vestibulitis from repeated yeast infections years ago and some of my symtoms sound like yours. Sometimes the hormons can also make your membranes fragile too, so make sure you tell the docotr that youare on the pill. Hope all goes well.
