Hi All,

Do any of you feel like you have the flu before or during your period?
Has anything helped?
Sometimes I don't have much by the way of PMS.
But sometimes (like today) I feel awful:
achy bones and joins, super tired (and I just woke up!) slightly nauseous, dark circles under the eyes but I slept nine hours.
I really don't think it's the flu because I feel very different than I do when I actually come down with something. I also never seem to get the flu (last time was six years ago). I get a flu shot anyway. But I only seem to get sore throats/cough when I get sick. This is why I think it may be hormonal.

YES! and was so in that place Friday! I can hardly get out of bed the day before I start. Make sure you talk to your Dr about it if you haven't. My doc ran a bunch of tests. Simple things that help me are to drink a lot more when the PMS is coming on and I eat/drink things with lots of calcium and vitamin D. It doesn't always work but it increases the likely hood of a "good month" or quick passing of the flu like symptoms.

Oh, I also reccomend feline brand belly warmers. They provide 8-12lbs of soothing deep pressure, a constant 107 degrees of warmth, soft natural fur covering that is self cleaning and some models even come with a vibrate option. I like them so much I have 3! Omi, Emma and DC (DC is my avitar). The only down side is that most models are NOT hypoallergenic. There is a furless model out there but I hear they are pricey and look rather like aliens.

Thanks Omers.
I know the Feline brand "warmers" of which you speak. We have two of them here in our household. In addition to providing warmth and comfort, they also supply a constant source of entertainment.
