This feels so stupid but I have an aversion to bras (but need the support) and have struggled for years to make my breasts inconspicuous without a bra. I had a breast reduction a year ago which cost heaps and still I can't wear a bra. I am a 24C and it's hard to find anything comfortable. I just want a crop top or something not bra like. I am staying indoors at the moment and feel if I am a prisoner to these breasts of mine that I hate and want to cut off, there is no point to living. Why didn't the surgeon listen to me when I said I wanted them as small as possible??! I have tried everything, before you make suggestions-EVERY type of garment, but I still wobble/bounce , it's obvious I'm not wearing a bra. Even tried swimsuit tops but at the moment can find nothing in the stores, NOTHING. So desperate and hate these useless lumps on my chest.

so have you tried those zip up sports bras . or like types?
personally i don't consider them bras they look nothing like and they squish you in so nothing jiggles. of course i always get a lil smaller size then need be for some but others will hold you tight and it's like wearing a crop top thingy

I never heard of zip up bras. Not here in little old NZ. Will web search them though. Exhasuted from searching.

It doesn't sound like you have an aversion to bras....it sounds like you have an issue with your breasts. You told the surgeon to make them as small as possible? It's odd to me, having several friends who got breast implants, to hear someone say that lol

What is so bad about them that you want them to be tiny? Or what don't you like about bras? Comfort?

I hear you. I really hate bras, but coming in at a 40DDD I really need them.

The happiest moment of my day is when I can get home and take my bra off and just wear a T-shirt.

Have you ever thought of trying a corset? It can give you the support without the bra strap part.

Also I totally get the breast reduction part. I'm huge, as soon as I'm done having babies I want to get one. Back pain, marks from bra straps, having to special order bras, all good reasons for a reduction.

Have you ever gotten officially fitted? Here in the US you can go to some stores and they will measure you and help you find what you are looking for. I don't know if the same thing is offered in NZ. If I were you I would look for an athletic bra meant to be used for running. They are usually the most supportive. Good luck.

I understand the reduction thing too. I am about the same size as splitimage.

Such a pain (literally!)

probably not what your looking for but while reading through your post, I couldnt stop thinking of this answer, I used to be a drag king (girl dressed like a guy etc etc for shows) and having 38D a bra was completely pointless so with the advice of a FTM friend I started using chest binders, the one I use still leave a slight bump but they actually look more like pecs and can only be seen from the side, dark colours completely cover up, I think this is the site I got mine from, but it was a very long time ago now, I mean like 4-5 years, so maybe do a look around just incase my memory is lying to me! http://www.t-kingdom.com/

*EDIT* that was not the site, I found the real site but they have shut down it seems but you can use the site I gave you as an idea what im talking about
Thanks for this!
