I received a call from my female doctor and she told me that I had tested positive for herpes, but they do not know what kind just yet. They said it could easily just be a simplex and nothing sexually transmitted but at the same time the fact that they do not know what type it is means that I could have recently caught it so I have to go see her again in 3 months to get tested again... My ex was my biggest mistake ever!

I can definitely understand the anger. It would be nice if you knew what kind so you knew what you are dealing with for treatment options and other choices to make for lifestyle things that can help, for foods and vitamin supps. There are things that can do. I hope they'll let you know soon. Hang in there meanwhile!

A lot of people have the herpes virus, it causes cold sores. Hopefully you don't have the one that causes the genital kind.
