Just wondering if anyone knows of a natural way to help with sweating at night. I'm pretty sure it's because I'm going through menopause or starting to. Thanks for any input.

Keep your nighttime temperature on the cool side, dress lightly in cotton pj's and light covers. If this continues to bother you, then consult with your doctor. Hope it gets better.

I haven't started menopause yet, but if you think that's the cause, you should ask your gynecologist (or I assume a regular doctor could do it) to do a blood test to check your hormones. Then s/he can tell you if you're in menopause or peri-menopause. Sorry, I don't have much in the way of suggestions to keep cool, but maybe Zeosorb powder will help. Look in the foot fungus area of your drugstore. It mentions "jock itch" on the container, but it handles much more (trust me, I know).

I get nightsweats from ptsd. Neurofeedback helps.

I think it's similar with me. Feeling hot, particularly at night, is not always down to my hormones, but I notice night sweats a lot more when something upsetting has happened during the day and they are often combined with nightmares.
Could it be that?
