What is the youngest age you remember masterbating?

13 i remember rubbing against objects when i was 5-6 never knew it was masturbation. i got called a nasty ***** by my mom for doing it at 13 accused me of having sex i wasnt having sex at 13.

What a cool topic! I love masturbating. It's great stress relief. I first did it I think around 4 years old. I didn't know it was sexual. It was just something that felt good.

Unfortunately now, the meds have left me with a diminished sex drive and I'm not living on my own the way I like. It will soon change though. Then I'll get right back to it on a regular basis.

Ha, either 3 or 4. Yes I was getting there at that age. Mom caught me and told me it was bad for me but I kept doing it anyway, just was worried for a while that it was going to physically make me sick from what my mom said. Was raised in a conservative household so masturbation was a sin. But I was obsessed with it and even did it in school in k and 1st grade. Got into my teens and felt so guilty that I would cut myself afterwards. These days I know it's not wrong so I'm good now.

It is normal. I was not sexually abused by the time I was masturbating.

OCD: yes, masturbating is normal in children before puberty and before being sexually active. Babies masturbate in the womb. The physiological reaction to masturbation is there before puberty. If kids find this out, then they may start masturbating.

Please don't misunderstand me. I meant absolutely no offense. I was asking because I from a curiosity of how the brain works. I wanted to know specifically because I wouldn't be surprised if mental disorders had an affect. So I wanted to know the flipside. I shouldn't have said anything.

I have memories of masturbating when I was 4 or 5. It wasn't the first time. I guess I must have started much earlier but I don't have those memories.

About 10 is when I first remember it. Not too long after I was abused :/

It may have been younger for me, actually likely was younger than 8, but don't really remember. Related to csa though, so not a great judge of "average"

Fetuses suck thumbs in the womb. I don't see how masturbating in the womb would be any different, except that I would not call it masturbating but rather call it playing with their genitalia.
