Is it possible that this result means I am pregnant?

what does this mean?

Look how faint the vertical line is.

Looks positive to me.

Of course, you should contact your OB/GYN for a proper test and ultrasound. That will answer your Q for sure! Good luck to you!

I think it is possible that it is positive, but I would definitely retest. They say it is best to take a test first thing in the morning. Good luck.

for some people yes this would be preg, for others it may be a false positive based on things like their own health history, dietary problems where too much or too less a chemical is in their body, or it can also mean not pregnant depending upon the brand, directions and how the test was completed...

my suggestion if .......you......feel this may be a problem for you contact your doctors, they will be able to administer a different kind of pregnancy test that is more reliable and will be taylored to your body ie with me these over the counter tests told me nothing. for me and my body type/dietary and chemical make up I required a blood test for accurate diagnosis of pregnancy.

Thanks. I tested this morning with a digital one and it was negative. I am confused still so I am gonna retest in a week. I have an appointment with my gyn. on the 26th to find out why I am lactating.

They do usually come two to a pack, out of four tests, how many positives?

Iud's can slip out of place.

It is not a positive. Blue dye tests are notorious for giving false lines, for it to be positive it would be a think blue line in both windows. I have way to much experience with pregnancy tests.

No problem. I have fertility issues and have spent a small fortune on preg tests over the years. The best tests are the FRER (First Response Early Response) but dollar store tests work as well. Digital tests are not as sensitive as the other tests. After taking what seems like a million tests the best way to take them is to pee into a dixie cup and then dip the test into it.

Which IUD do you have? Some have hormones in them which can cause different side effects such as the lactating. Definitely talk with your GYN.

Both lines aren't always thick. With my third son I had a faint line like that and thought it was negative until I read the directions which said any appearance of the second line, however faint, was a positive. I took it again two days later and it was a dark line.

It might not be though. Pregnancies on an IUD are rare, although they do happen. I hope your appointment goes well.

Sometimes, if you don't read it within the time on the directions it will look positive.
In other words, the longer you leave a test to sit, the better the odds of a false positive..

FYI. I had high Prolactin levels when I was on Risperdone. Check your meds before you start worrying too much.

Never use blue dyes (dollar store ones = false positives)

Alawys use pink dyes FRER

The one pregnancy test that I say is official is a test from a doctor's office

Well it's good you found out for sure. When I was pregnant mine was blue and it looked just like yours, tired it again and got a another very slight line as a positive, finally saw the doctor and they confirmed I was indeed pregnant, only 2-3 weeks, could be why the line was so light? Oh well.

Me too.

Risperdone also caused me to lactate.
