Hi, can we be friends? Lol. I could have written your post. I feel the same way, I have similar interests. I'm also a geek, an athlete, I wear makeup because society expects me to. I hate that being feminine = being a sex object. Still, it's not that I want to be a man.

I could have asked this question myself, but reading it coming from someone else my advice is don't change. You sound like an awesome person. Like the kind of woman I keep hoping to meet and be friends with.

I like big hoodie sweaters and video games, make more money than my husband. I'm still a woman. Don't let whoever tell you what a woman is or isn't based in her level of femininity. If you want to dress up and wear make-up, do it, of if you don't want to; don't. Neither will make you less than the other. If anyone criticizes, it's their problem; who goes around pointing and attacking peoples appearances? Miserable people

I tried being this quiet dainty skirt wearing girly girl, it's just not me. And I'm finally happy with the way I am, I hope you can be too
