I have been in a lot of pain lately and I went to the hospital emergency and they told me I had growths on my uterus. The told me they are all non cancerous but some quite large. I have to have an operation to remove the large ones and I am a bit stressed out about it and I was wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them?

I just had a total hysterectomy Nov 4th. We weren't suspecting cancer either but due to ovarian cysts and uterine fibroids I had the surgery by the robotic Da Vinci method and it was pretty easy. I don't know if they can do yours via laporoscopy but find out from your doctor how she is going to do this surgery. Even if she can't it is something that you can handle. I don't know your age but I was already in menopause so that is why I said take it all. I wish you the best.
