Oh woooooow! I'm so sorry that you went through all that worry and everything - that's so horrible that the hospital is capable of making such a huge mistake! But I'm really glad that you are healthy!!!!

Oh Pat!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so relieved she was wrong, but I'm so horrified she was wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Surely she'll lose her job over this. If not for making the mistake, surely for not calling you and explaining the mistake as she was told to do.

I'm so happy you have a clean bill of health. What a gift it is.

Hugs,

Jan

So, you don't have cancer? That's wonderful, but I agree with everyone who said this nurse should be fired, especially since there were more mistakes! I also feel horrible for the patient who does have cancer! I'm truly glad you're ok, though!

Peppermint Mentos and Coke could be used in creative ways, too!

I've seen a lot of horror movies, and there are sites online (and other resources, such as books) that give tips on scary horror makeup--we could go in looking like creepy monsters or ghosts and freak her out. my southern netherlands

I don't blame you for confronting her, Pat. This is unacceptable. She really should be fired.

OMG! How did I miss this post? I'm so glad you're okay! What a relief! my southern netherlands You're going to be fine! And I get to keep my vagina! my southern netherlands

What a freaking screw-up. I'm so glad they figured out their mistake BEFORE they had you in surgery. It's scary that mistakes like this happen a lot. You've been through such a horrible scare and it was totally unnecessary. Grrrrrr. I had a co-worker who went through 4 radiation treatments before the medical pros figured out they had her mammogram confused with someone else's.

Anyway, enough of my rant about medical screw-ups. I am just so relieved that you don't have cancer. I got tears in my eyes when I read your post (and I'm an ice princess). This is such good news. ((((Hugs)))))

My dad has a fog machine, I bet he'd let us borrow it. We could harness you up above her bed with the glow in the dark paint and the clothes that are too big and do the drip drip drip thing and all whisper "You shouldn't make mistakes, you shouldn't make mistakes".
