Does Lamictal take your sex-drive away? Mine is a lot lower than it used to be just a few months ago... I hate it. Just increased lamictal and i wonder if that is why.

It's probably the reason for your low sex drive. Most of the medications we take will do that unfortunately. You can check with yo9ur doctor to see if there is something else you can take but whatever you take is probably going to have the same effect.

For me, the term 'sexual side effects' didn't even begin to cover it- being touched by my husband felt gross and I had to force myself to have sex. Really nasty.

I think it's a bad one to come off of, too, talk to your doctor and try to switch to a new med.

Alas, many psych meds have that result. I hope you can get on something that doesn't.

the interest is starting to come back... Maybe my body responded in that way first, to get used to the increase. Who knows. These meds are so unpredictable sometimes.
