![]() I think this would be an interesting thread to start a discussion regarding herbal and alternative medications and/or treatments for health issues specific to womyn. For instance: >PMS >Menopause >Water retention list goes on! What are some of your proven herbal and/or alternative treatments for your well being? I use Evening Primrose for PMS.
It works brilliantly for me - I don't even notice I have my period at all. Except if I forget to take it for the week before as I did recently, and actually thought I was going nuts hehe (as well as sore and bloated as hell). Soooo ummm yea I find it pretty effective and so do a number of friends. I have no idea what brands are good in your countries but I just get ummm Healtheries or something here. DISCLAIMER: I have no idea if this reacts with SSRIs or anything, I ain't noticed anything tho. I also sometimes take B12 dots for a little energy kick (twinlab brand), but that doesn't really qualify as girly stuff. |
