I used to really hate my body but I have a very good and accepting view on it I don't see myself as smoking hot but I don't see myself as ugly I acknowledge that there is a little bit of jiggle on my arms and the skin is a bit loose but I still feel very beautiful in my own skin. I feel happy that I have large thighs because it is what makes my figure looks balanced you can't have a larger top half and then have stick thin legs. I am tiny yeah maybe I wish I was taller but then again I am still pretty happy that I am 166cm I think that is a pretty decent height for a 20 year old girl. I would say that in my body and self esteem wize I feel secure and safe in myself and I wouldn't change it for anything

166 cm? That's rather tall, isn't it? Here I am down here at the 160 cm mark! I wonder, are Australians quite tall in general?
In all seriousness, though that was a serious question and I would love to know if Australia is just filled with giant people, good on you. Self-respect is acknowledging that you, and no one, for that matter, can be perfect. It is accepting your "flaws" as part of yourself and as more than "flaws". Every imperfection tells a story-each are one line in an ongoing tale. Honestly, I hesitate to use the word "flaw", as I feel something, in regard to appearance, is only a "flaw" if it poses a threat to your health. Beauty is gifted to everyone, it is simply up to the individual to accept it. Not an easy thing in a society which scoffs at those who dare tug at the ribbon. So again, good on you. |

![]() They don't have STICK thin legs obviously, but they are top heavy with narrow hips, making their legs look skinnier I suppose. I'm glad you feel happy about your body though. ![]() ![]() |
