I have started using the epilator and it is working out really well. It HURTS LIKE HELL - don't get me wrong, but then my pits did to start with too. My pits are GREAT now. They feel really smooth and soft (and not stubbly prickly like they used to when I shaved. And the hair all grows back at different rates so it isn't painful to just touch them up every four days or so (and it actually takes me less time than shaving). But initially... I had to do just a tiny little section at a time and then knock it off for a day. Same thing with this, basically. But I'm looking forward to it all being smooth like my pits :-)

I think a racing stripe looks weird...
But then I think all off looks weird too...

But the closer I get the more I worry about my epilator munching things it really shouldn't...

So... I'm going with all off at this stage... But... It is weird, yeah. And if bf's beard is scrapy then it will have to grow back...
