Ok, I'm just making a new thread, although I wonder if I should have put it in the bipolar section. Anyway, I'm concerned here. I was recently diagnosed with bipolar2, and I am inclined to support that, but I have also continuously suffered from PMS or the disphoria and the physical pains up to and during my cycle. Battery is about to die, but if need more specifics, I can add more later or answer followup questions.
Guess I'm looking for support as I sort this out, and more of a definition/treatment of PMDD.
Thanks!

Hi giddykitty and welcome to Psych Central!

Here's a link from Ontario, Canada for reference reading. Hope it is helpful.

Thanks and thank you for the welcome! I did just read that and I guess I am still hoping for more like testimonies of what this might look like in people's lives. I know my symptoms keep me in bed all day for a few days, oh but this is the physical part. There are low moods, maybe they do keep me oversleeping or keep me wanting to stay away from it all and people, and extreme irritation and lack of patience with my husband, or anyone, and it is a big problem, but... Well I was wondering how it looked different to bipolar or if bipolar could cause these symptoms? Or can one have both even? Anyone know/been told something by a doctor?
Thanks!
