I went to the ob/gyn yesterday. I definitely have an infection

Possible trigger:

and I know it's from when he used the back of a utility knife on me, it was dirty.

I won't have treatment or know exactly what's wrong until they get the results back, which he said would be today.

I have a date with a seemingly nice guy Saturday but the thing is I'm not thrilled with how he looks. I'm hoping he just takes bad pictures. My ex looked better in life his pictures made him look really ragged and old.

I really just want to get rid of this infection and be normal again. I know the stress of it is why I go bronchitis, which thankfully is almost healed. The rest of me is almost better, blood clot dissipated. But man I got hit with the crapload of stuff all in a week, really thought I was going to die, no luck there, still kicking.

I'm not familiar with your history or with what happened...as far as I know a dirty object won't cause an infection unless there are abrasions or cuts made...???

Whatever is going on, I'm glad you saw your gyn. I hope you get treatment quickly.

I agree with Laurie I don't think the knife has anything to do with you infection. As she said though I'm glad you are getting treatment and hope you feel better soon. Sounds like you went through a lot that week.
