Hello, lovely ladies.

After a long wait and much stress on a journey to get my tubes tied, I have a surgery date. I have great faith in my surgeon and this is something I've wanted done for a long time. But, I am a bit nervous since this is my first non-dental surgery. Even though, if I'm honest, I'm way more nervous about the bowel prep the night before.

My surgery is Thursday, September 20th of this year.

I could definitely use any encouragement and such that can be given. Or any tips to make the prep, the recovery, etc. any easier. I am all eyes (since I can only read your advice. )

Thank you all for your time, and for reading this.

Much love!

~Sarah

Pocket riding to the surgery if you'd like. Hoping it goes well.

Feeling anxious about an upcoming surgery is, unfortunately, very normal. I will tell you that I've had 4 surgeries that involved my uterus/ovaries/Fallopian tubes and my experience is that it will be over so fast, you won't even realize any time passed. I strongly suggest that you be assertive about staying overnight in the hospital so you can get a bit of extra rest.

Thank you guys!!!

Everything is all ready for the big day, hospital bag is packed, etc.

Just nervous about the surgical prep tomorrow. But other than that so ready to do this. More than ready.

Thank you all for the encouragment. I'll probably not be on before the surgery this Thursday but I will check in when I'm feeling better in the recovery. Much love. <3

You probably won't see this, but I'm sending lots of good, peaceful, calming thoughts your way! And hoping it's super easy, non-stressful, and you have a surprisingly fast recovery!

Good luck!
