I'm gonna state this kinda graphically...very straight-forward just because I don't know how else to do it...

It seems like anytime somebody fingers me, I bleed. It doesn't occur during intercourse, only with continued foreplay. I know that if someone scratches me..inside..that can cause bleeding..but what are the odds that this happens every time?

The whole thing is getting a bit annoying, sometimes humiliating...erg.

how much is it? i still bleed almost every time because i tear almost every time and i have been sexually active for about 5 years. is it from the inside or is it like a tear on the outside that bleeds? does it also happen from sex? if its on the inside and only happens during fingering then i would say to tell whoever is doing it to BE GENTLE!!! you should never be humiliated by it. For some reason girls think that these problems that are common are unique to them because no one ever talks about them. So never feel ashamed or embarassed about your body.

Do you even have sex or is this as far as it goes? Is it accompanied by pain or just bleeding? I think if you are just beginning to be sexually active and don't do this all the time that it's normal. If it still scares you then go to a doctor, obviously. But unless it's accompanied by any of the things I mentioned I wouldn't worry too much.

I admit the finger nail area can be a very touchy subject if your significant other does not keep them trimmed and ready for working when the opportunity presents its self for pleasuring another.... I bleed off and on when stimulated manually or after having sexual intercourse and I have since found out from my doctor that it is due to cyst on my cervix bursting from pressure being placed upon them.

yes, i did forget to mention that i have ovarian cysts and uterine polyps that rupture and bleed. so i never really know what my bleeding is from. good point - rhap. however, i can tell you that (as im sure rhap knows) when those things rupture, you know it. so if its not accompanied by absolute stabbing pain that makes you want to go to the e.r. then i would assume everythings ok. but i always forget what happens when you assume....

i went to the e.r. the first time a cyst ruptured cause i had no clue what was going on. they were treating me like an anomale. they thought it was implantation bleeding and pains then tested me to see if i was pregnant. i wasnt so they sent me home. wonderful doctors, eh? tell you one thing, if you feel that this is signaling something and no doctor will give you any mind, then go to a different one. it took me 2 years and 4 doctors until someone gave me a diagnosis and some medicine. so if you truly think something is wrong, you have to fight to be taken seriously. sucks to say it, but sexism is still alive and well.

ouch..forget the fingering, I had a bad experience with my husband and his damn finger nails and ever since I don't let him anymore. It's sensitive up there and may be getting scratched without you even realizing it. Be sure to figure it out though, could be something else.

a lot of you had mentioned fingernails, and that's what me and a friend of mine had been thinking. It has never happened during intercourse, only with fingering and this is the second time that I've noticed it only..unfortunately...I didn't notice it...he did. so not cool...and slightly embarrassing. I doubt I can actually talk to him about it simply because it was a complicated night...filled with alcohol...and it might have been a "her" not a "him"...there were three of us altogether...yeah. lol.

I think I'm gonna write it off as a fingernail incident, and I'll have to pay better attention to that in the future I suppose. thanks for all the info!

Well the other part of this concern is that you have to consider that a finger is smaller in diameter than a penis. A finger can easily fit into the mouth of your cervix, and honestly, that can cause bleeding quite easily. A penis head is much larger in diameter and will NOT fit into the cervical opening.

And yes, your cervix has an opening even if you aren't giving birth or having a period. Stimulation from a finger tip can cause enough dilitation that the lining that is built up in your uterus can shed just a little.
