from any type of stimulation whatsoever. They've been like that ever since I nursed my children. I don't understand why they act this way since it's been a few years since I breastfed. If they are touched, accidentally elbowed, rubbed, brushed...anything, they go into stimulation over drive and hurt like hell. They get real firm and sensitive. I don't produce any milk or nothing so that doesn't explain the firmness. The pain feels like sore muscles..like in the legs or arms for example. At first I blamed my monthly but then I realized it was from being touched. What could this mean?? My boobs hurt... My boobs hurt... My boobs hurt... My boobs hurt... ouchie!

You may have mastitis...worth going to your doc for a checkup...I had this myself after nursing, but it can come along any time...the milk ducts get infected..just a thought....

oooh..sounds horrible and painful...
I'm getting nervous now.
I think I'll snoop around on the web and look up some symptoms.

i dont know about in humans but i know this happens a lot in cats. (forgive me... im going for vet school not med school lol). after they give birth and produce milk its actually pretty frequent but at the same time pretty easy to cure if found early. just like most things. the good thing is that you have the ability to talk lol. cats its like finding a needle in a haystack when theyre sick. so i agree with jinny. just a visit to the doc should do it. but dont let it go too long, infections can be nasty if left untreated.

I agree with Jinny. If that is the case, warm compresses might ease the discomfort. Check with your Doctor though, if it is an infection you might need antibiotics to help.

Good luck , hope you feel better soon
