Dear Ladies
I was wondering do you hate being physically weaker than men? I hate it. I've had a few men completely overpower me and beat me down without even trying. Even men smaller than me still beat me down. While I fought with everything I had. I lost to every man at everything that had to do with physical strength. I used to pride myself on being strong. But men showed me reality, I guess. For thousands of years men used their natural power to abuse and oppress us. I hate the fact that they could take away all our rights and abuse us and oppress us like they used to for those thousands of years. Women having any rights at all is a fairly new concept. I hate the fact that I can't go for night walks without fear of being raped. Sleeping in my apartment alone scares me. Men scare me. I'm not trying to bash men. In fact, I adore most men. But still, I'll always be jealous of how strong they are and hate how weak I am. |

I do! I envy how they can rearrange their furniture without help. Or rent and load up a truck themselves when moving, for example.
I believe they are born with more upper body strength even if we work out! Just women bodybuilders and weight lifters (like in the Olympics) could come close to men’s strength. There are good men out there so it’s the bad ones that give men their scary reputation! I’ve got better strength now than in years past but can’t hold a candle to men! ——— Posted directly on site using iPhone __________________ Call me "owl" for short! Well, as a man, hopefully one of the not (or less) toxic ones, I do feel that sentiment from some women on occasion. I raised two daughters and, while I'm getting a bit older and not as strong or tough as I used to be when I trained wrestling, I'm still pretty fit. I'm conscious, after talking with so many women of all ages, including my sister and my two daughters, of how intimidating it is and how consciously or unconsciously, women are scared of men. The best thing that can be done by men, I think, is to remain conscious of it and do as little as possible to inspire fear or insecurity towards a woman. I've had one seriously toxic relationship on the past. I let myself get hit. Not because I enjoyed it, nor because she was stronger than me (far from it) but because it isn't right. I ended up running, much like a thief, amidst calls of being less than a man, by her, by some other men.
But, I can say I never struck her. That makes me feel better for not having turned into someone women point out and say "He scares me". Sent from my moto g pure using Tapatalk |

Richard, Good to hear a man’s point of view but this forum is for women supporting women. Just like the men’s support is for men supporting men.
Maybe OP doesn’t mind but I find it unnerving, your being a man. ——— Posted directly on site using iPhone __________________ Call me "owl" for short! Hmmm....looks like some good tips in here. "Okay, enough photos. I'm a very BUSY Business Kitty, so make an appointment next time." |

It is true that physically, men have an advantage. Anatomical differences, hormones, etc. all play into that. I guess it’s just something you have to accept and take into account. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I heard a disturbing story on the news about men randomly sucker punching women in the face. It’s in New York City. Not sure how frequently it happens but they aren’t even provoked in any way. I doubt if men would punch other men! They could get their lights punched out but women are vulnerable as we don’t have that strength. Not that I want to get in a fight even if strong but I doubt they would punch men randomly!

I doubt those men would punch other men randomly too. I've been punched hard by men before. It hurts really bad and it knocks you off your feet. I've been bruised and bloodied by men. There was nothing I could do to defend myself. That's why I hate being physically weaker than men so much. What's happening in New York fuels my hatred for being weaker than them.

I do not feel this way. And both times I was fighting an attempt at forcibly rape in my young years, I won quickly, surprising myself with my strength. I was not lifting weights or anything at that time. Granted, I also quietly threatened the attackers with the police but they must have realized that I could not call the police and thus it was an empty threat. So yes, both times I really surprised myself. Once at 16, the other time at 25. A little later, at 26, I was acquaintance raped because I could not say no to the man, and I could not say no because I felt that I had owed to him for various favors such as watching my toddler son on occasion and in general being nice to me. I was furious with him afterwards but in the act, no, I could not assert my boundaries.
Other negative experiences with men have all revolves around manipulations and my emotional vulnerability and susceptibility. Never around being physically weaker. On a separate note, I like strong physique in men but only up to a limit. I find the bodybuilders' bodies funny rather than attractive. __________________ Bipolar I w/psychotic features Last inpatient stay in 2018 Geodon 40 mg Seroquel 75 mg Gabapentin 1200 mg+Vitamin B-complex (against extrapyramidal side effects) Long term side effects from medications, some of them discontinued: - hypothyroidism - obesity BMI ~ 38 |
