My PERIOD.
Finally came back, five months later.

And i can't seem to get a regular tampon to fit like it should, it feels a bit odd - I wonder if this is just because I haven't used one on oh, lets see, nine months plus five months lol.

I DESPISE pads. So I am hoping its just a getting used to it thing again. On a better note i don't seem to be bleeding as much as I used to which is HURRAH but then this is only day one.

Anyways, im kind of glad its back because it was odd not having it. I felt sort of.. like half a woman and wondered if it wasnt working correctly Well look what the cat finally dragged in! Well look what the cat finally dragged in!

you are breast feeding right? I think that will cause a delay in the return of old aunt flo.

I was breastfeeding Well look what the cat finally dragged in!

I was told to stop when they had to start me on the neurontin because it could cause seizures in the baby. So Very very sadly, I had to stop.

I found the solution - a super tampon fits better. I must just be.. well, looser? Well look what the cat finally dragged in! I cant think of a better way to put it.

it could hon. also your body is now going to recover from the birth and breast feeding. it takes time for it to go back to normal.

do your keegle exercise several times a day. also, it will take a few months for you to get regular again after birth and breastfeeding. cramps, pms, etc all change after each baby so don't expect it to be just like before.

lost

It takes time for things to get back to normal and because I didnt do my pelvic floor exercises it took nearly two years with my last one, so get going on them now ! lol.

Your periods will return to normal too.

(((((Rain))))) I don't think that's weird at all. I thinks it's natural, based upon what those muscles are usually used for.

Rain!! LOL I love the comment about the keegles. My OBGYN asked me about doing them during preg and after my son was born and I FLAMED red right there in his office. He cocked an eyebrow up at me and grinnned and said, "Just remember, wait at least six weeks!" They know. . .trust me.

Regarding Aunt Flo visitations after birth:
I had the same problem, and even the jumbo torpedo ones didn't work quite the way things had worked before. I got leaks, stuff like that. Big time drag. So, I switched over to a Luna cup and have had the best results. No leaks, don't have to purchase girly goodies every month, and it fits PERFECT. There's a new type of sanitary device that you can buy in the drugstore, Walmart, Kroger now, called InStead. They come in a little white box with purple accents. I'm sure if you google it you can find some info on it as well. They're similar to Luna's, but disposable. I swear by these suckers and I'll NEVER ever go back to tamps, pads, or other.

Good luck hon!

www.lunapads.com (they sell pads to, but you're looking for the cup)

Rainbowz, after my first child's birth (vaginal), I found that my periods did not hurt as much. So no cramps again was definitely a benefit of having given birth (for me at least). I can't remember if there was any difference in the amount of flow, but this will vary through a woman's lifetime.
