In this exact moment,

I reallllllllly hate men. (Sorry guys who read here!)

I also reallllllly want chocolate. And to crawl in bed, and not go completely crazy when someone irritates me.

And usually it's men... because they don't understand, which does *NOTHING* to make me feel better. Especially when told that I'm cranky. Oh, and an off-handed remark that could be seen as me being called FAT.

Sigh. I want chocolate, but it's bad for me when I'm trying to lose weight.

Ideas? Not in pain... just irritated. Maybe I should be a hermit.

And oh my ... soooooooo tired. Byebye iron.

Sigh. If I never have children, I'll be quite upset. I've got to be suffering like this for a pretty darn good reason.

Hmmm... do birth control pills work for bad periods? I'm just looking for ideas.

And PLEASE don't say "Motrin". That's one of my guy friends response to all my physical problems.

SOOOOOOOOOOOO freaking irritating.

*throwing a pity party* --- I'll stop whining now. Thanks for listening to me rant.

Oh wait, something else. I am "suitably endowed" and my little sister... swears she'd go crazy if she ever gets as big as me. But apparently it "suits" me.

Sigh. Everyone thinks I'm fat. Maybe I am.

But right now, I just hate almost everything.

I'm sorry that you are feeling bad, I was on birth control when I was younger and it really seemed to help with my periods. It might be a good idea to ask your doctor if you are interested, it doesn't hurt to ask. Right now...

The miracle "pill" it is... LOL.

Thanks ((((((((((((girls/woman/beautiful ladies))))))))))))))

Christina going to bed soon... perhaps to feel better tomorrow? Intense agony for less than half the time of most women... I'd take less agony and waste more time... at least then I wouldn't be a curled up whiny mess. (even with the prospect of getting a baby pet tomorrow... even with that... sigh)

In high school my periods were so bad with cramps, etc that I would have to stay home from school because I hurt too much to get out of bed, and I could only walk hunched over double. The pill did wonders to regulate that.

However, I did get my first blood clot from one, which at the time they chalked up to my weight, being that I was in my 20s and a nonsmoker. If only they could see me now, 50 lbs heavier and 3 clots later.....A lot has changed in how BCP are formulated now, though, so don't get too freaked out. Plus, since then they discovered I have a clotting disorder they didn't know existed in 1992. Right now...

Motrin sucks, btw, but Pamprin -- YEAH, baby.

Dr. Candybear's prescription is to screw the 70% cocoa stuff and go for full-on chocolate, then stay in bed as much as possible and whine all you want.

Right now... Right now... Right now...

Christina I’m really sorry that you’re having a problem with a man that appears to be insensitive. For your chocolate craving, perhaps that new Special K?

As for your period, birth control pills will help them. My daughter inherited my female problems, but refuse bc pills because she’s not sexually active. As an alternative, her doctor suggested taking 600mg of ibuprofen every 4 hours starting two days before your period is due continuing for the first two days of your period. This will help with cramps by thinning the blood, reducing clots etc. BUT prior to this, the doctor ran tests to make sure her liver could handle this dose.

I tried that drug out there for mensrual periods, what was it called? Its a popular one out there (cant think of the name) but it wasnt any better than advil or any other pain killers out there. What a waste of money. Hey go to pure romance website they have this warm up heart that helps with cramps, i love it!

Birth control pills did nothing to help me. Heck I even got pregnant on them. I wouldnt trust them at all. Midol helped me with cramps and also( I know this sounds gross but use a tampon if you can) and lay in a tub of hot water for a bit. Really helps relax you. Also laying on my stomach helped too. I know it sounds weird, but it did something to calm the cramping down. Hope this helps a bit. Thank goodness I dont have to worry about any of this anymore lol.. TGFH!!!! Uhhhh thats Thank God For Hysterectomies!!!!!!! LOL

Thanks lovely ladies.

Well, it's pretty much over for another month. (Thankfully).

And I didn't even bite anyone's head off (well, not really)!!

I'll keep all the advice in mind for next time, and probably try to talk to my doctor as well.

Too much information, I know...sorry 'bout that). But some of my friends take midol + Ibuprofen. </font>

the pill sent me from periods from He!! to 3 days of heavy spotting with little to no pain or pms. as far as the chocolate goes, that always helps. just don't over do it. also warm bath or a heating pad is good and there are lots of herbs that while they wont help immediately they will after a few months of consistency make it much better. evening primrose oil and black cohosh are the 2 i can think of off hand.

Good news ... chocolate, if it is 60% cocoa, is really good for you.

It contains anti-oxidants and one more benefit for the humans who love it - it is a fat, but a beneficial one. It fights belly fat. Yup.

So, in moderation, it is good for you!

And most chocolate companies are producing this healthier chocolate. (;

Feel better soon, Dear Person.

cocoa comfort,
night

Nightbird, you made me very happy. Right now... I'm trying to switch chocolate brands, so that helps a lot!

Thanks everyone. I survived... actually besides my mood, it wasnt that bad overall. I guess it helps that I'm not as stressed at the moment (does that happen to anyone else? The more stressed you are, the worst the period is?)

not sure if the bad period causes stress or the stress causes the bad period, but they definitly go hand in hand.
