Hi everyone - if anyone can offer some advice about this, I'd greatly appreciate it
I've just started seeing someone new. The first time we slept together was great, but when we'd finished the condom was tinted red slightly, which seems to suggest bleeding, but not much. We'd both been drinking a bit, so I put it down to it being a bit rougher than I thought, and the fact that he's quite well-endowned - however, it happened again the next time, and the next, and last time there was so much blood he asked if I'd started my period.... which I hadn't at all. I'm really worried about this now, because, yes, ok, he may be on the larger side, but all my boyfriends have been, so it can't be that I've just had my first cervical smear test done (as I'm 21), which was before this latest bleeding incident - I know that the test results will come back in about 4 weeks, but this is concerning me now - should I go back to the doctor and tell them about this before my results come back? I always call the doctor when I am concerned especially about this. Is there any pain or discomfort during sex? I say call your doctor, they will probably want to check you out because spotting isn't out of the ordinary, but it sounds like it is more than that. Good luck with everything.

The "Kinsey" site says it is pretty common but you should call your doctor in case they want to do antibiotics in case of infection or anything:

When I began dating my XBF, he was large enough that he would actually tear me. I had bleeding wounds after we had sex. I hadn't been having regular sex at that point and I wasn't "stretching" enough.
I ended up waiting for the wounds to heal completely, going to a sex therapist to learn how to relax, and using artificial lube until I "got used to it". The new BF is more manageable for me... :-) __________________ They don't ever lock ya up for thinking crazy - they only get ya for actin' crazy! It's definately NOT a problem with sex, because it doesn't hurt at all, there's no tension or anything.... so it's gotta be an infection or *gulp* worse....
*sigh.... I'm sure it'll be fine, but unfortunately I can't go to the doctor until next tuesday as I'm going on holiday.... So for now, I'm putting my faith in the test I just had done til I get back M_V __________________ Everything is upsidedown and strange to me, but maybe I'm not the one who's wrong... |
