Last night i dreamed i found a tumor on my breast - how scary that was! it reminded me that I probably am getting to the age where i should be having a mammogram yearly. The thing is i know nothing about mammograms - what is it? Does it hurt? I'm 26 and i smoke so i figure its about time.

yes they can hurt but it is worth it to find out what is going on inside. are you doing your self exams every month?

still might be a good idea to have one done hon. my friend has breast cancer right now. although it is very small and they said it is the kind that will not spread I know she is anxious to get it out. they did find hers on ultrasound though and not on mammo.
