i have been having sharp pains in my groin area some times these pains come even if i havent moved other times when i move i notice them,

i know they are not period pains, only thing i can describe some of the pain is like wheni had stiches after birth but its closer to the bone,

if any body can other any ideas i would be gratefull

There are so many things it could be - a venous problem due to circulation, ovarian inflammation or cysts, sciatic nerve problems, etc. If stretching, heat/ice therapy, massage, etc. doesn't relieve the pain, you might want to consult a gynecologist.

That sounds a lot like the pain my mom first noticed when the arthritis in her hip started progressing. The joint in your groin is the interior (as opposed to the outside) of the hip joint.

Hope you are finding some relief.
