I invite men to PM me with answers to this also. Why do even the most laid back guys get SO angry at video games? I just don't get it. Seems like even the most docile, sweet, calm guys will go nuts over a video game! Is there a specific reason behind this?

seriously....my boyfriend is the most laid back person ive ever met and i still have to tell him "stop flipping out! its a video game!" i told him that i refuse to play any kind of video game with him if hes going to act like that and i told him he was annoying the hell out of me. cause whenever i play a game and die over and over it makes me laugh but him....i think hes gonna break the controller! so finally i was like, fine, this is how youre gonna act then have fun cause im not dealing with it lol and he was like "i wont do it anymore i promise!" and he quit flipping out but well see how long that lasts haha

Believe me I was being serious when I said "testosterone" - it is the driving force behind the unexplainable behavior we see in men a lot of times.... is this an excuse "no" just the reason, as I feel that men can control their testosterone surge moments like female have to learn to do with their pms moments.

LOL It's the opposite here! I'm the one getting way too angry at a silly game, and he's the one laughing and having fun.

hmm I have to agree... I get really riled up too. I don't normally swear, but when I play a shooter (and I say shooter specifically because this doesn't happen with RPGs), it's all f-bomb that and s-bomb this. LoL

but then that's around guys too... I think it's cuz guys just let loose. I think guys act one way when they are around girls and another around guys... its kinda sad, but I find it to be true.

I know what you mean.
My brother in general, is a laid back kind of guy
but I wish he'd stop playing video games a lot of times
(that would be nearly impossible though)
he already has volatile emotions, so when he played videogames his tempter tantrums are through the roof.
