An embarassing problem.....kind of graphic

I was seeing this guy for awhile and he enjoyed getting blowjobs and so I would do them for him.

Well anyway..now I get thrush quite often now and was wondering if he could have given me something to have caused me to keep getting thrush. I know thrush is just basically a yeast infection in your mouth and so that is why I was wondering if me giving him what he wanted and him coming in my mouth could have given me something to make it that I am more suseptible to getting thrush.

Before I had this guy I rarely got thrush and now I get it more often. I haven't been with this guy in over 7 years but I still get thrush at least 2xs a year. I didn't want to bring it up to my doctor unless it is a possiblity.

Yes - thrush can occur from performing oral sex on someone who has a genital yeast infection... it can also occur after taking potent antibiotics which wipe out the beneficial bacteria that normally keep most yeast in check... diabetes has also been known to cause thrush in the mouth.

I would definitely bring it up with your doctor. Get tested, find out what's going on, so you can get treatment.

ive never even heard that word before - but are YOU clear of an infection? If you have a yeast infection and have sex with him, then perform oral sex I could see it being transferred to you. I would definitely go get tested. If something is there you both need to know about it.

Thrush is more common in kids (none sexual ways of course), but adults can and do get it to.

make sure you're getting lots of pro-biotics in your diet such as yogurt or acidopholis in capsule form. As the other post said, antibiotics can cause it, diabetes and also steroid inhalers (need to rinse with water after using).
