My home was repossessed back in April after the breakdown of my marriage. Now with a new job and rented home things had settled down.
BUT then today a bill for £30,000 drops on my door step. They have sold our house well below the asking price and now they want this!!!!! where from ![]() ![]() ![]()

send it to your ex and tell him HE has to pay for it...and then talk to your lawyer about what else you can do to get rid of it...I'm sure he will have some answers for you...keep your chin up hon...you have come a long way and have done well...keep reminding yourself of that...

Well, they will just have to wait for the money. Call and see if you can arrange for a payment plan. If they say no and it goes to court the judge should allow a payment plan that will be based on your current income and bills. I had a friend this happend to over the summer. At least that is what happens in Pennsylvania. It may depend on what state you are in.
And you only owe $15,000 you ex owes the other $15,000 and make sure you hold him responsible for it!
