I hate waiting - it's the worst

I interviewed for a job on Wed. and am now waiting to hear back. I realize it's just a couple of days, but I'm still stressed & can't help but think they're not interested in me. Reality check - they're still doing first round interviews according to my recruiter.

Also waiting to hear back from 2 other companies that I was presented to, by same recruiter.

I just hate hate the endless waiting to hear back, if you hear anything at all. I just don't cope well with it.

I know I don't wait well ... I have dozens of tapes I can play to fill the void!

Of course, all are my voice, which never knows what its talking about in this case. So I do my utmost to not listen.


So that's my best advice. I send with it my greatest sympathies. And *tons of hugs*.

I hear ya! I'm waiting to hear back from a company after the second round of interviews. They were supposed to have made a decision this past Monday, but for whatever reasons they hadn't gotten through all the reference calls yet. They said they would hopefully have a decision by early next week. I have been in a state of high anxiety and shattered concentration. I'm trying not to implode.

Chin up! Until you hear back otherwise, you still have a chance of getting the job. The wait is excruciating but no news is good news at this point, lol. I wish you the best!
