Well, Here I go again looking for work and applying for jobs and going to interviews. I keep telling myself I am getting better at being interviewed if nothing else. I just wish someone would give me a chance. I am like a new born child I am ready to spread my wings and fly. I have no life to speak of, so I am ready to give my employer my all. I am finding this job interviewing so hard. I would love to tell a future employer how much I really need the work but I don't want to sound to desperate. I don't know what I am doing wrong, I wish I could ask the ones that pass me by. I do think that looks and age do have something to do with it, even though most say they don't discriminate. I just needed to get this out of my head, thanks.

Who says you can't ask?
"So and so, could you tell me more about what I could do to get this job if it's offered again? I'd really appreciate your input." WTH, whatcha go to lose?

Some tips about interviewing from a long time recruiter:
Always ask for the job! Say "Thank you for your time today. I enjoyed meeting with you and feel that this is the right opportunity for me. If you make me a fair offer, I will accept it" Be careful how you answer some questions: Salary: I would like a fair salary based on my experience and the current market in this location. If forced to give a number give a big range so you don;t price your self out of a job, and don't get low balled. Future: always make them feel like you are going to be there long term. Say: "As long as things are going well, I can see myself here for foreseeable future." I have many more tips and tricks for those interested. Call me at 636-536-6656 and I'll do my best to help out.
