So since my husband can't do the wedding deliveries anymore at the bakery we both work at, I've gotten roped into doing them. I was firm with the owner telling her that I'm not driving the van, b/c I'm not comfortable doing it. (I drive a little Kia Rio, that's like a shoebox with wheels. I have a VW Passat and sometimes have difficulty driving that b/c I'm used to a small car). Anyways, so far I've been on 2 deliveries and they've gone horribly wrong. The first delivery she gave me the wrong directions, so we get halfway there and realize we're going to the wrong place. I don't have a smart phone so I can't look at her email, so we come back to my house to get the directions, and finally get to the church 30 mins late.

Today, was an experience. We get about 2 miles away from the bakery and she realized she forgot something. So me thinking of the fastest way to get back to the bakery is a little side street. When we go to turn on the side street, she cuts the turn too close and goes up on the sidewalk, blowing out the tire. Seriously? So I have to calm her down, I call my husband to get the AAA number, and we call that. Meanwhile one of the counter staff has to come out and get me so we can go back to the bakery to get my car. We get back out there and the tow truck guy comes and looks at the spare tire, and it's flat. So we load everything into the one girls van, and 2 trays can fit in my car. We finally leave and I"m following the one girl and she goes way out of the way of where the place really is. I swear it added an extra 10 mins to the driving time. I should've just went first, but I wasn't that sure of where the place was. We get there, and I find out that we have to go downstairs to set up all the pastries. I HATE stairs. They make my back hurt so much. We got everything set up, which took like an hour. I just stood there holding trays while my boss set everything up. Which made my back hurt. (I really hate my back). Finally after everything was done, we went back to my car. (which was moved by the vallet, and they had my keys.) Then back to the bakery.

Thank the gods, I'm home now. I haven't eaten all day, and I didn't get to shower, b/c at 1:50 my husband calls, and was like are you on your way to the bakery? umm...no...I thought the delivery was at 3. Well it was at 2.

Thanks for this!
