I swear, I can't seem to work a 40 hr work week. I think since I've started working there's only been 2 or 3 weeks that I've actually worked 40 hrs. I just have appointments every week, that I have to go too. 90% of the time it's drs appts. I'm tired of having to go to so many drs appts. I'm tired of having so many health issues. How am I going to explain this to future employers? It's not like I'm missing whole days of work. Even when I had my cortisone shot in my back, I went to work, even though I wasn't supposed to. My boss right now doesn't mind, but I'm sure other employers wouldn't like it. What makes me mad, is that there's nothing I can do about it. I have to see my pdoc monthly and my back dr monthly. I try to make sure the appts are not on the same week. So most of the time I have 38-39 hrs. I could make it up on lunch, but I need my hour away, so I don't go crazy.

Well anything health related is a legit reason to not work a 40 hour week, when employers look at attendance they look into why and how It's low if you were skiving work then the jobs not yours. But when you have health issues and still have a career they respect that. Employers look at staff that work hard and are a credit to the job like you.
