How long would you estimate it takes a fulltime psychotherapist to develop and full and steady caseload?

I think it would depend on many different things including their specialisation, location, publicity and whether they were part of an organisation or in private practice. I know therapists who can gain clients very quickly and others that can struggle for a long time, often due to lack of experience or lack of publicity so people do not know they are there.

Can I ask why?
