This probably shouldnt be such an issue that I need advice for, but since i've been up all nite worrying about it, why not? I've been sick off and on the past few weeks, really bad yesterday. My sleep schedule is all messed up and I have an interview today. I read on a job site its better to reschedule than go to an interview sick. I dont want them to think i am lying or dont want the job, well they can prolly tell from my stuffy nose that im sick. Im worried about going because i do and say really stupid things when i havent slept any advice? Thx

Reschedule, without a shadow of a doubt. If you go, you won't perform well, you'll worry, and they might think you've selfishly brought germs in.

I would phone them, explain, and insist on fixing another date there and then.

Yeah, I hope you rescheduled. Unless you were feeling better today and felt like going, it probably would not work out too well.

I was able to reschedule, the manager was very understanding, thx. Im super nervous though, i never used to get that nervous in interviews, but I guess its because i need a job so bad. I havent worked since last October, I had a nervous breakdown. Since Ive been an adult, this is the longest I've gone without working. I just get paranoid I wont find a job or I'll get fired since I'm always sick. I guess the best anyone can do is try, right?

I'd reschedule it. If they reject you , that simply shows what kind of company they are. You probably would not like working there anyway. Get better and move onward to find that dream job. Good Luck!

Glad to hear they were able to accommodate. How did the interview, end up going?

If you get this job, will you be able to make it in, on a consistent basis?

I didn't get the job, not sure why, I thought I did pretty well. They ended up rescheduling me like 2 or 3 times, so I don't feel so bad for being sick. I'm sick a lot because I'm allergic to my dog, I recently discovered. So am in the process of tring to find her a new home
