I recently had a promising interview at a popular clothing store at the mall. I am excited, and I am a hard worker, but I'm horrified that it will overwhelm me. Many customers come in, and it is an extremely hectic job.

Does anyone have advice for surviving this kind of job?

You'll be assigned tasks. When hired, they'll train you how to handle it.

Make friends/get along with your coworkers so you can commiserate with and help them and they'll help you, etc. The job can be stressful so having others around who understand and are "friendly" is much better than having slackers or immature types who weigh on you as well as the job being stressful. If you aren't comfortable with the people, quit and find another job.

I used to do this kind of job. It gets better with practice! I worked in H&M for years and really liked it.
Thanks for this!
