My boss has been on a rampage lately. This time she is picking on my coworker. She has tried getting me to react but I managed to not react and just let her say her ignorant crud. My coworker has reacted every time (taken the bait) and my boss has been able to exercise her rage and hatred; it's been pretty bad and no one should have to listen to the vitriol this poor excuse for a boss vomits. If we worked at a place with a functioning HR the boss would have been bounced out the door years ago.

As frustrating as your workplace sounds, right now, I am glad to hear you aren't taking the bait with the boss!

Was this a sudden turn a bout with your boss, or has your boss always been like this? Are your co workers reactive moments, making matters worse with your boss? As in, fueling the fire?

My boss has been like this ever since I worked in this area. My coworker makes it worse.
