I had to go out today and buy a shirt, since I have nothing really suitable for a job interview in the summer. I found one good one, but it had too much room in the bust, and in a crisp fabric, so it looked like something was missing inside there. Then I went to a consignment store. Choice between one that was "safe" and one that "would make an impression," said the store owner when she saw how they looked. The impression one did look good, and my husband agreed, but I thought it was too tight. I don't want to make an impression with my shirt. I went with safe.

I have no freaking clue about fashion. I wear t-shirts. This is environmental science. I'm not sure what people wear as "business casual" and when I look at images for that on the web it looks way too fancy for anything I would ever wear. I just can't be bothered, in general, but for the interview I went to all this fuss.
