Is this normal? I am wanting to work at this doggy daycare,my mom called(I was too scared to call myself). They said that I have to come in, & do it there. What does this mean?

No worries. Just go there and bring all your information with you. They do that because the application is a formality. It sounds like they will have you fill it out, get an interview right away and then decide if they want you to work there. This is common in many "first jobs".

Perhaps it simply means that if your applications qualifies you for the job, then they can talk to you in person immediately, rather than having your application get buried in some other paperwork or "lost" by whoever happens to be at the front desk.

Don't read anything into it and go ahead in.
Take your pertinent info in with you and have your phone to call your mom with any questions....
You will be fine.

If it helps any, one of my kids works in a place like that.
They're very happy to have decent people work there that love animals.
I understand your anxiety, but try not to let it show. If it doesn't work out, then it's simply good practice for the next opportunity.
Good luck!

Many times I see jobs that say the words `apply within' on the window or `call into store for an application form' its normal for many places. You will have to go in for an interview at some point. Good luck.

Prep before hand in case you do get an interview. Go in thinking you'll have one and be prepared. It won't be as scary as you think!

You'.like be fine!

Having people fill it out in site is to gather "information" as basic as can you write and can you follow directions. So make sure you read the application instructions, breathe and relax!
