I have this job interview on Monday. I'm so scared, I've never had a proper job interview before. I'm one of those people that when someone asks me a question my mind goes completely blank. On top of that I'm super shy, which a careers adviser so kindly pointed out yesterday, which didn't help at all, so now I feel even worse. It's just a 'work experience' job so I won't be getting paid. It's a waitress job. Is it weird that I'm hoping not to get it? I just know I wouldn't cope, I have such a bad memory, I always mess up at things. I'm too sensitive for this ****.

Sorry to hear!!! If you don't want the job, then I would cancel the job interview! Best of luck!!

You might surprise yourself. Take a deep breath, it is an opportunity, and it is not forever, if you get the job. Sometimes the structure of work can help us to be more organized, less forgetful, ---acknowledge your sensitivity, you're not the only one, and remember this is "practice", a learning experience, if you do it, try treating it as an internship. Whatever happens, you will get through this.
