Is HR supposed to be objective when it comes to disciplinary matters? When I was recently terminated, my side to the story didn't seem to matter. HR was there merely to facilitate the wish of my department managers albeit the false claims being made.

Thanks...

It would be nice to think the HR dept would be objective in employee matters but since they are company employees, I just don't see how that would be truly possible. Your hunch is probably correct. Sorry you feel you got a bum deal.

Unfortunately HR is there to serve the company, not its employees
