I've never had a job in my life, gone for several interviews.. Flunked, all of them. Why? I assume it's because employers frown upon my hyperactivity level.. Once I start talking, I can't stop. I'm very hyperactive, and have no filter, even if I try.. Somehow, I always manage to jump a topic at a job interview.. I feel like I don't belong in the working world. Always been harassed because of my level of hyper activity. I just want to be normal, but can't figure out how to be Afraid of being diagnosed not knowing what tests are performed, and even more terrified of the medications and side effects of said medications. I've been on Vyvsane, 40mg about a year ago. Doctor let me ramble, and then just chose a medication for me. Got horrible side effects. Dizzy, dehydrated, spacy, but had a clear mind at the same time. Felt swollen, had the worse migraine I've ever had in my life that I can't even describe.

Hi! I don't personally think there's anything to fear about any tests. They would just be questions about your history and perhaps other paper/IQ-like "tests." If you would like, then you can talk to the folks in the ADD/ADHD forum here to see what they went through. Or even look up info on-line. The link here is: http://forums.psychcentral.com/atten...rder-add-adhd/.

I suggest you start by going to your primary care doctor and explaining what's happening. Some or even most of your hyperactivity could just be the result of nervousness.

Are you saying you are hyperactive all the time otherwise, though? You might be having a touch of mania, although that comes and goes.

My son has ADD and controls his problem by managing what issues it causes. He did take meds, but he hasn't for years.

But I definitely think you need to find out what's happening, since you say you are having problems with job interviews. Okay?

Perhaps you need a job that is more physical to keep you busy. Stocking shelves, working in a warehouse, being a courier or working for UPS/FedX/USPS
